Looking forward to the new year, here's our 2024 Webflow Wishlist:
🤞 Feature requests:
- The ability to replace images and other media in the assets library.
- The ability to link to media assets in custom code, like we can now with variables.
- Completely replace the old Editor with the new Editor + keep the old Editor’s seating policy.
- Ability to use component properties in embedded elements.
- A repeater-like element with components, that doesn’t require a collection.
- The ability to duplicate a collection page.
- Improved styling in rich text elements.
- Nested rich text within link blocks.
🚫 Bug fixes:
- Fix, or at least increase the capacity of nested collections, already. 🙄
- Fix the bug where you can’t add attributes until you refresh the Designer.
🚀 Moonshot request:
- A Liquid template-like scripting language for simple backend processing.

Working with Gigantic was inspiring and impactful. Given the nature and timeline of this project, our company needed a collaborative and nimble partner—not just one who lists those qualities as bullet points in a capabilities presentation, but a partner who actually exhibits them day in and day out. Gigantic worked with our team to create and implement design decisions in real-time and, like any true partner, asked great questions and challenged us which has only benefited our company as a whole.
